We have a Spanish tile roof on our house that needs replacing. We do not want to replace it with shingles, we would like to replace with the new metal roofs that resemble Spanish tiles, or with real Spanish tiles.

I think we need a new roof, we get a new leak every year. I'd like to get a qoute for cheap and one for tiles. Also like the idea of a sky lights. Any ideas how much that will cost?

32 squares, remove/tearoff, haul and dispose of existing shingles and felt (tar) paper, install new dark-gray or black dimensional Owing Corning Oak Ridge AR dimensional shingles, new felt (tar) paper, Install new roof vents - tutle type Metal (6), Flashing - Pipe Jack (3) and boots, Furnace Vent - rain cap and storm collar, 5" (2). I need to know cost broken out + total cost. contractor needs to be self-insured, bonded, and I need to see copy of self insurance document. I will be making decision in the next week or so.

Currently have a welded rubber roof on a flat roofed home. I am considering a granular coated epdm roof installed over the existing roof(no tear off) with 1/2" insulation. I've been told the area is approx. 32 squares and that there is around 400 linear feet at the boundary with the mansard shingle roof. The shingles are in good shape and would only be replacing two rows of the shingles around the bottom of the upper mansard(sp?)
